“The Art of Light” racconta il ruolo fondamentale della luce nello spazio domestico: poetica e sorprendente, architetturale e decorativa, naturale e tecnologica, accende i luoghi dell’abitare, accarezza le forme di oggetti e arredi, influisce sul nostro umore. L’allestimento firmato per Elle Decor Italia da Giuliano Andrea dell’Uva Architetti, dallo studio Metis Lighting e dal paesaggista Antonio Perazzi restituisce, con un linguaggio emozionale e un’esperienza immersiva, la relazione virtuosa tra lighting design e interiors. Stanza dopo stanza, il visitatore scoprirà un progetto che prende le mosse da quattro elementi fondamentali. Lo spazio: giocato su riflessi, trasparenze, scelte cromatiche e materiche. L’arte: con una selezione di opere site specific in dialogo con gli ambienti e il design. L’illuminazione: mai statica ma variabile, con intensità, direzioni e temperature di colore sempre diverse. Il verde: nel quale i raggi del sole svelano sfumature smeraldo, argento, salvia. In un rapporto profondo con l’ombra e con la luce.

‘The Art of Light’ recounts the fundamental role of light in domestic spaces: poetic and surprising, architectural and decorative, natural and technological, it illuminates our homes, emphasises the shapes of objects and furnishings, and affects our mood. Its set-up, designed by Giuliano Andrea dell’Uva Architetti, the Metis Lighting studio and landscape architect Antonio Perazzi for Elle Decor Italia, expresses through an emotional language and an immersive experience the fruitful relationship between lighting and interior design. Room by room, the visitor will discover a project revolving around the following key concepts: Space, based on reflections, transparencies and selected colours and materials; Art, including a series of site-specific works that interact with the rooms and their design; Lighting, dynamic and adjustable thanks to ever-changing intensity, directions and colour temperatures; and Greenery, where the sun’s rays reveal emerald, silver or sage green hues. In this exhibition, the play of shadow and light is as compelling as ever.
